Changes to the Adobe Campus Agreement Program

On Thursday, May 31, the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) launched a new and improved way for eligible members of the campus community to obtain Adobe software at no cost through our Adobe Campus Agreement.

Under this program, UMass Amherst faculty and eligible staff who are actively employed, as well as GEO graduate students can obtain Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premium at no cost for their University-owned computers and one personally-owned computer from our updated Adobe Campus Agreement site. 

In contrast to our current, rather time-consuming process, the new method is Web-based and automated. Users will be able to obtain license keys and download software for University-owned and personally-owned computers immediately, without having to go through a third-party software vendor.

As a result of this new process:

  •  All eligible members of the campus community will be able to download and install software available through this program. Departments that do not want their members to install software on University-owned computers should place installation restrictions on departmental computers.   • Eligible members of the campus community no longer need to agree to, fill out, and submit the Personal Use Acceptance Form before downloading the software on personally-owned computers.
  • Graduate students who are members of the Graduate Employment Organization (GEO) can download the version for their personally-owned computers directly; they are no longer required to have a faculty or staff member download it for them.
