This Dreamweaver introduction has been developed for maintainers of administrative and academic departments on the UMass Amherst campus. Rather than stepping you through the construction of a site from scratch, it assumes that you'll only need to update pages on an existing site.
You’ll learn about Dreamweaver’s workspace and tools for editing pages, and for transferring documents between your PC and the university Web server. By working with sample files for a fictional department site, you learn to format text, add pictures, add new Web pages to the site, create links between pages, and keep site files well organized.
