Web Hosting at UMass Amherst

OIT hosts and supports Web spaces for students, faculty, and staff as well as academic or administrative offices and organizations on campus.

Highlights

  • Each student, faculty, or staff is allocated 100 MB of file space on the webadmin.oit.umass.edu server
  • Instructors can set up a separate blog or Web site for their courses
  • Departments can choose between classic HTML or a new Web content management system (Drupal) for official University Web sites
