Email clients are the best method for accessing mail from a computer you use regularly. If you don't have an email client already installed on your computer, download the latest supported versions of Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird at no cost from these manufacturers' Web sites:

• Mozilla Thunderbird: http://www.mozilla.com/

To access UMail, you will need a network-ready computer and an Ethernet, dial-up or wireless network connection. See our Network pages for more information on how to connect your computer to the UMass network.

You will need an OIT Account to set up your client and access your email. If you do not have an OIT Account, or if you cannot remember your password, please come to room A107 LGRC. Don't forget your UCard!
