Note: To avoid errors, we recommend that you copy and paste the search base information from this screen into the field in your email software.
    • In the Authentication drop-down menu, select Simple.
    • Under Authentication, in the User name field, enter: uid=yournetid,ou=people,dc=umass,dc=edu
where yournetid is your OIT Account NetID.
    • Leave the Password field blank.
Note: For security purposes, we recommend that you do not enter or save your password.
    • Click Save.
  7. Click Done, and then close the Composing window.
