Class Email Lists
Class email lists are email lists automatically generated in SPIRE based on current course rosters. Instructors then use Mailman, our Web-based list management software, to add or remove students and perform other list administration functions. Students can also use Mailman to manage their list profile.
Some benefits of these lists include:
- Click-of-a-button setup. Our class email lists are generated and can be refreshed automatically from SPIRE.
- Special configuration options. A list can be announcement-only or open to the entire class to contribute.
- Message archiving. Messages are securely archived for a period of up to 6 months.
