Upload Files to UDrive

To upload files to UDrive, you can use the upload tool (see below for instructions) or you can set up a WebDAV folder to copy/paste or drag-and-drop files directly from your computer to your UDrive space.

Click Upload (Upload icon ) to use the UDrive upload tool to upload one or more files to your UDrive account.

  1. Open the directory to which you would like to upload your file(s). See Navigate Folders for more information.
  2. In the Navigation Toolbar, click Upload. The Upload File In: screen will open.
  3. On the Upload File In: screen, in the Number of files to upload: field (top right of screen), select the number of files you wish to upload (up to 20) from the drop-down menu. Extra File: fields will appear on this screen.

    Note: If you change the Number of files to upload: field after browsing to find files, but before uploading them, that information will be lost.

  4. At the end of the File: field, click Browse. The window that opens next will depend upon which browser you are using.
  5. Locate the file you wish to upload, select it, then click Open. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for each File: field.
  6. On the Upload File in: screen, select Overwrite file if it already exists if you wish to overwrite a file with the same name that you’ve already uploaded to your UDrive account.

    Note: If you do not choose this option, you will receive an error when trying to upload a file with the same name. If you choose this option, the current version of the file will be moved to your Trash unless versioning is turned on.
