To edit a file stored in your UDrive, you must first download it to your computer, then re-upload it once you finish editing it.
If you are using a desktop folder (WebDAV) to access UDrive, you do not need to download, then upload the files you wish to modify. Save the changes directly to your UDrive desktop folder. See Set up a Web Folder to Access UDrive for more information.
- Log on to your UDrive account with your NetID (OIT Account user name) and UMail password.
- Download the file(s) you wish to modify. Learn how to download files.
- Make and save any changes, as needed.
- Upload the file back to your UDrive account. Learn how to upload files.
Note: On the Upload File in: screen, select Overwrite file if it already exists to replace the old file with the new one. If you are working with others on the same file, and wish to save the initial version, you can set up versioning.
