The SPIRE Main Menu is now a dropdown menu at the top of your SPIRE pages, as shown above.
Click Main Menu to see all of your familiar SPIRE options, such as Course Guides and UMass Directory and then click the menu option you need.
If you navigate using the keyboard only, press Ctrl+Y to open the Main Menu and then tab three times to bypass the Search and Sort options. Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu items. For more details, visit Navigate SPIRE's Dropdown Menu Using the Keyboard.
Yes, you can access the same Favorites and other options as before the change!
The new menu format:
Is smaller to let you see more information in SPIRE.
Expands when you need it.
Always shows Favorites and Main Menu- think of them as your anchors for finding your way. Click Main Menu to see an overview of your choices.
Shows the full navigation path using links to any options that you selected on the way to the page that you are viewing (sometimes called "breadcrumbs"). For example, for the Search for Classes page in the illustration above, you see the ever present Favorites and Main Menu, plus breadcrumbs for Course Guides and Search for Classes.
