To add a syllabus to your course, you can post a syllabus created from an external file (e.g., a .pdf file) or you can use SPARK’s syllabus tool.
You can upload a syllabus you have created in Microsoft Word or another word processing program. We recommend first converting your syllabus to a .pdf file for greater accessibility. Your students will need a .pdf reader, e.g., Acrobat Reader, available for free at the OIT Web site.
SPARK's built-in syllabus tool allows you to construct your syllabus by entering text into pre-established item blocks.
On the Syllabus screen, you will see two items already present in your syllabus: Section Information and Instructor Information. This information cannot be changed.
