Use SPIRE to view or print an unofficial transcript. The unofficial transcript lists your classes, credits, and grades that you earned at UMass Amherst.

Note: An unofficial transcript cannot be used for official purposes. It does not have the Registrar's signature or the stamp of the University of Massachusetts. It should be used for reference purposes only.

If you are a UMass alum and can logon to SPIRE, you can also view and print your Unofficial Transcript.

1. In the left Menu, go to Academics > Unofficial Transcript. The View Unofficial Transcript page will open.
2. On the View Unofficial Transcript page, from the Report Type drop-down list, select Unofficial Trasncript, then click go. If Unofficial Trasncript is already selected from the drop-down list, click go. The Report Results page will open.
3. On the Report Results page, your transcript will appear with your Student ID, birth date and print date at the top. The report will list all your class, grades and credits by term.
4. At the top/bottom of the Report Results page, click Return. You will return to the View Unofficial Transcript page.

If you have recently run a transcript, you don't need to run it again:

1. On the View Unofficial Transcript page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click View a Report that you had previously requested. The View Previously Requested Reports page will open.
2. On the View Previously Requested Reports page, all the reports you have recently run (e.g., transcripts, degree progress reports, etc.) will be listed by Request Date. Choose the report you wish to view, then click go next to its Request Date.
