About the Degree Progress Report
A. Undergraduate students: use the Degree Progress Report to see the graduation requirements that you have already fulfilled, and those requirements that you still need to complete in order to graduate. These include GPA, General Education, and major requirements.
Note: If you have a hold on your record, or your student status is discontinued, you cannot run a degree progress report. Learn more about holds.
Your Degree Progress Report includes:
- Your Name, Student ID, Print Date and Academic Program History (i.e. , when you declared your major) at the top.
- Undergraduate Record: This is a list of all the courses you have taken or transferred to UMass, including your grades and credits.
- Academic Advisement Report: Lists General Education (GenEd) and major requirements, and the classes you have taken to fulfill them. The General Education requirements you still have to complete will be listed in bold.
- Whether you are eligible to graduate, based on the completion status of your GenEd and major requirements. If you have not fulfilled a requirement, you will see Requirement Not Satisfied in red.
- Transfer Eval for New Ugrads is intended for new transfer students to review prior to starting their first semester at UMass. The Transfer Evaluation describes how any credits transferred to UMass from another institution apply to a student’s University graduation requirements. If you are a transfer student, the same information is also available in your degree progress report.
B. Graduate, post-graduate & Stockbridge students: consult with your advisor for degree requirements and status information.
Undergraduate Students: Run A Degree Progress Report
- In the left Menu, go to Academics > Degree Progress Report. The View Degree Progress Report page opens.
- On the View Degree Progress Report page, from the Report Type drop-down list, select Degree Audit for Undergraduate, then click go. Your report will appear on the Report Results page.
- At the top/bottom of the Report Results page, click Return. to go back to the View Degree Progress Report page.
Undergraduate Students: View a Degree Progress Report That You Ran Previously
If you have recently run ad egree progress report, you don't need to run it again:
- On the View Degree Progress report page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click View a Report that you had previously requested. The View Previously Requested Reports page will open.
- On the View Previously Requested Reports page, all the reports you have recently run (e.g., transcripts, degree progress reports, etc.) will be listed by Request Date. Choose the report you wish to view, then click go next to its Request Date.
