About Academic Requirements
Undergraduate students - use the new My Academic Requirements page in SPIRE to see what degree requirements you have left to complete in order to graduate and what you have already completed. Degree requirements may include those of the University, General Education, plans, majors and subplans, as applicable. You can also see your total completed credits that count towards your degree.
Which Students Can View the My Academic Requirements Page?
Undergraduate Degree-Seeking Students including UWW Students
Note: UWW students can view the My Academic Requirements page; however, you must consult with an advisor for information about your degree requirements and/or degree progress. Also, UWW students do not have course lists as part of your My Academic Requirements page.
If you are a graduate student, a non-degree or non-credit undergraduate student, or your student status is discontinued, you cannot view the My Academic Requirements page.
Note: Students in these categories should consult with an advisor for information about your degree requirements and progress.
Your Academic Requirements Report includes:

- Undergraduate Requirement section:
The Undergraduate Requirement section shows by default the University Graduation requirements that you have not yet completed, i.e., those that are unsatisfied.
In this section, you will find your total completed credits that count towards your degree.
You will see the section expanded when your report opens, unless you are ready to graduate and have completed all your University Graduation Requirements, then it will be collapsed. If you have completed all your University Graduation Requirements, click the green arrow to expand this entire section and review the information about all the completed requirements.
The sub-sections for each requirement of your Undegraduate degree you have already satisfied will be collapsed. Only the unsatisfied requirements show by default. If you completed any of your University Graduation Requirements and want to review that information, click the green arrow to expand any collapsed sub-section.
- Other sections list information about your GenEd, plan, major and/or sub-planrequirements, as applicable. If you have not satisfied all the requirements for any requirement group, such as GenEd or your major, you will see those sections expanded when your report opens. Each section will list the unsatisfied requirements that you still need to complete. Satisfied requirement sections will be collpased when your report opens, click the green arrow to expand those sections and review the information.
- Some sections will always show as unsatisfied, e.g., the CEUG section for UWW students. For sections that always show as unsatisfied, the section heading is followed by an informational statement that you must contact an advisor. Follow the directions of any informational statements of this type and contact an advisor to get information about those requirements and the status of your progress towards your degree.
