Supported Software & Downloads
OIT supports a wide range of software for Macintosh and Windows computers. We also provide downloads of some software at no charge.
Site Licenses
OIT has arrangements with the manufacturers of select software programs to distribute them to members of the UMass community, usually at reduced cost.
Microsoft Select
Microsoft Select is a software acquisition plan that provides UMass faculty and staff, departments, and students with most Microsoft software at a fraction of the retail price.
Adobe Select
Our Adobe Select program allows students to purchase Adobe software (e.g., Creative Suite 2 & Studio) at a significant discount.
MSDN-AA
Faculty and students can download Microsoft developer tools, operating systems, and some applications through the Microsoft Developer's Network Academic Alliance (MSDN-AA). Learn how.
