Adobe Select Licensing Program

The University of Massachusetts Amherst participates in the Adobe Select Licensing Program, which provides Adobe software at a discount to members of the campus community.

Note: Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium (CS6) is available at no cost to eligible members of the campus community through our Adobe Campus Agreement program [2]. 

Available Software

These products are sold through SHI, a resource used by many institutions to purchase licensed technologies. Software available through the program includes:

Purchase Software for Personal Use

Note: You will be required to provide an image (scan/photo) of your campus ID or confirm your UMail address as proof that you are a member of the UMass Amherst community.

Purchase Software for Institutional Use

Through Adobe Select, UMass Amherst faculty and staff can also purchase software for official institutional use online, via email, or by phone. 

Order Software Online

To purchase software online, faculty and staff must first create an account with SHI:

1. Go to https://www.shi.com/Security/Register.aspx [5] to register your account. The New User Registration page will open.
2. At the top of the New User Registration page, next to Were you provided with a Customer Access key / Token?, select the radio button next to Yes. A Customer Access Key / Token area will appear on the page.
3. Under Customer Access Key / Token:
   • Next to What is the Customer Token?, enter 8686
   • Next to What is the Customer Access Key?, enter umassamherst
4. Complete the rest of the registration form and click Create Account (at bottom, right). If the registration is successful, a new page will open with a confirmation message. This page also lets you indicate whether you wish to subscribe to various SHI newsletters (optional), select your desired options and click Continue. The www.shi.com Home page will open.
5. You can now browse www.shi.com [6] to check prices or to purchase Adobe software for institutional use.
