Members of the University community may have recently received an email from "University of Massachusetts Amherst Webmail Services, " with the subject "1 New Mail Message:" asking them to follow a link to view an important message. 

Caution: This email did not come from the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) or UMass Amherst; it is a phishing scam, designed to trick you into giving out your personal information. 

UPDATE: Members of the University community who continue to have problems accessing their Exchange email on Outlook 2007 or 2010 can use our instructions to update the server settings for their account.

Moodle will be unavailable on the morning of Thursday, May 16, from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. while the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) performs a scheduled upgrade to Moodle 2.4. If you experience problems with Moodle after 11:00 a.m. please contact the OIT Help Center during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.).
