UPDATE: Alert! New Fraudulent Email Targets UMass Amherst

UPDATE: UMass Amherst IT has become aware of a new phishing message sent to members of the University community with the subject "Security Alert !!!" from sender "University of Massachusetts." This is also a phishing scam. Do not respond!

Members of the University community may have recently received an email from "UMass Amherst, " with the subject "Quota Limit" asking them to follow a link to upgrade the storage quota for their email account. 

Mail Delivery Delays to Non-UMass Email Addresses

On Monday, October 20, 2014, email messages sent to many major email services (e.g.,Yahoo!, Gmail, Comcast) from UMass Amherst email accounts may be temporarily delayed for up 48 hours. During this interval, members of the University community may receive notifications of undelivered mail.

Echo360 Lecture Capture Service Unavailable - Sat., 10/18, 1 a.m. - 5 a.m.

October 17, 2014

The Echo360 lecture capture service will be unavailable on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from approximately 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. for system maintenance. During this period, instructors will not be able to log in or publish recordings, and students will not be able to view recordings hosted on the Echo360 server.
