Updated Login Process Resolves Recent Moodle Issues

Between May 20 and May 24, some instructors and students were unable to access certain services through Moodle, such as Library Streaming, i>clicker, Turnitin, Respondus, or guest access. 

On May 24, the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) temporarily modified the login process for Moodle to address these issues. If you continue to experience problems accessing services through Moodle, please contact the OIT Help Center

Alert! New Fraudulent Email Targets UMass Amherst

Members of the University community may have recently received an email from "University of Massachusetts Amherst Webmail Services, " with the subject "1 New Mail Message:" asking them to follow a link to view an important message. 

Caution: This email did not come from the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) or UMass Amherst; it is a phishing scam, designed to trick you into giving out your personal information.

UPDATE: Members of the University community who continue to have problems accessing their Exchange email on Outlook 2007 or 2010 can use our instructions to update the server settings for their account.
