UDrive, the Office of Information Technologies' (OIT) file storage service, will be unavailable between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 while OIT performs routine maintenance. If you experience problems with UDrive after 7:30 a.m., please contact the OIT Help Center

UMass Amherst IT Services Patched Against Heartbleed Vulnerability

UPDATE: As of Thursday, April 10, 2014, patching for most campus IT services is complete. Stay tuned for details.

On Monday, April 7, 2014, the OpenSSL Project announced Heartbleed, a critical vulnerability that can expose data on systems running OpenSSL, including passwords and other sensitive data. 

Problems with UMASS-SECURE1X? Run XpressConnect Again

Recently, some members of the University community have reported problems connecting to the UMASS-SECURE1X wireless network. If you cannot connect to UMASS-SECURE1X, the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) recommends that you run the XpressConnect setup wizard again.
