OIT is committed to expanding wireless network coverage on campus. We started with classrooms and open spaces and are now moving on to administrative and academic buildings. Learn about the Wireless Coverage Expansion Project.

Partial Coverage

The wireless network covers most publicly-scheduled classrooms and high-traffic areas in the buildings listed below.

Once you're in one of these buildings, look out for our wireless hotspot signs. These signs indicate that the general area is covered by the wireless network.

Dining Halls

All UMass Amherst dining halls (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Worcester) feature wireless coverage in all seating areas.
