Network Connectivity

You'll need an OIT Account and UMail password to access the network.

Ethernet Access

Networked buildings on-campus have dedicated Ethernet jacks that link your computer to the campus network. Ethernet jacks in residence halls and in some classrooms are part of the NetReg system. To connect to the network using these jacks, you must first register your computer with OIT.

Dial-up Access

Access the campus network the old-fashioned way, using a modem. Use Dial-up if you are off-campus or in a building not wired for Ethernet.

Wireless Access

Our wireless network continues to grow: approximately 200 wireless access points are available in almost 40 buildings on campus. The Campus Center all Dining Commons, the first floor of the Student Union, and select outdoor areas are also wireless enabled. No wires. No fuss.

Family Housing High-speed Internet

The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) will be bringing high-speed Internet access to Lincoln and North Village apartments. Learn more about the status of this service and what tenants can expect.
