• An OIT Account: You will need a NetID (OIT Account user name) and your UMail password to access the network. If you do not have an OIT Account, or if you cannot remember your password, please come to A107 LGRC. Don't forget your UCard!
• A Computer with a Modem: You will need a computer that meets our minimum system requirements and has a modem. Most newer computers come with a modem installed. If yours doesn't have one, you can purchase one from the University Store or most other computer retailers. You can use either an internal or external modem; we recommend a 56k modem (it must be V.90-compliant). If you use an external modem you'll also need a cable to connect the modem to your computer. • A phone jack and cable.
• A phone line with the minimum (local) service.
