Network Connectivity

Members of the UMass Amherst community can access the University's high-speed network
via wired Ethernet or wireless.
 

Wireless Access Wirelss access is available in a growing number of locations on campus, including all residence halls.	Wired Ethernet Access Most networked buildings on campus (except for residence halls) have dedicated wired Ethernet jacks.	Virtual Private Network (VPN) Faculty and staff can securely access the University's network from off-campus locations to connect to departmental servers and other networked resources.
