Google MailAs part of Google Apps at UMass Amherst, undergraduate students will use Google Mail for their UMass Amherst email. |
ExchangeMicrosoft Exchange provides an integrated email, calendaring, and contacts experience for faculty, staff, and graduate students. A limited number of campus departments currently use Exchange email and calendaring. Exchange will replace UMail for faculty, staff, and graduate students starting in Fall 2013. |
UMailUMail, UMass Amherst's legacy email system, is available via a Web browser or email software. OIT will be phasing out UMail in 2014. |
