Blogs at UMass Amherst Upgrade

OIT will be upgrading our Blogs at UMass Amherst service to version 2.8.1 on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. To complete the upgrade, Blogs at UMass Amherst will be unavailable from noon on July 15 to noon on July 16, 2009.

OIT will migrate all content (blog posts, images, etc.) from the old version to the new. Once the new software is released, you may need to re-apply your blog's theme, widgets, or plugins. Learn more about how to fix your blog after the upgrade.

Upgrade Highlights

The new version of Blogs comes with a more flexible interface, new plugins, and a revised list of supported themes. Other highlights include:
