Video Conferencing Classroom
The Five-College Interactive Networked Classroom is equipped with Tandberg video conferencing equipment, and allows interactive exchange of voice, video, and data with other facilities across the Pioneer Valley or around the world.
Our video conferencing facility is primarily used to foster teaching and learning at UMass Amherst and among the Five College institutions. Teaching endeavors with institutions outside the Five Colleges are also supported. We provide training and consulting on using video conferencing effectively as a teaching tool. Administrative or departmental use will be considered based on availability.
OIT and AIMS video conferencing facilities have been consolidated and temporarily moved to Herter Annex 19-F while OIT's video conferencing facility (LGRC A208) undergoes renovation.
